Tu accuseras
Celui qui t’a fait cette coladera (2)
Quem cré sabê
Se sangue de Beirona é sim sabe
El ba panhal
La na fundo di ladera
Sangue de Beirona
Sangue de Beirona
El é sabe, el é doce
Si bo k'otcha'l
La na fundo di ladera
Bo ta culpa
E quem faze'b ess coladera
Yes, by all means add it to the article with the corrections. The first was a typo (typing error) and \'morna\' needed your local knowledge for correct interpretation. I did have a struggle trying to get the correct interpretation for that%u2026. great to have that sorted out :-)
Maybe we should add a foot note about the meaning of \'morna\' for English speakers and non Cape Verdians?
LAND OF THE SUN
We are this land of the sun
That shines on your lips
That past, memory
That cries in the chords of a guitar
We are a tomorrow in your eyes
A symbol of our Struggle
We are the power, the intelligence and life
In the ocean, in the factories and fields
We are the fream, the poetry and the light
On our journey towards the rest of the world
Above all we are also the warm
Memory and master of our identity
Modest people living memories
Giants of love and simplicity
Children of this land of the sun
That is Cape Verde
